10.“考查”和“考察”两词都读作kǎo chá.两词都是动词,均可表示用一定标准、手段来了解或弄清事物的情况.两词的用法又各有侧重.“考查”多指依据一定的标准来检查、衡量,目的是评定或审核,对象常是非常重大的且多半是人们的作为.如学习、成绩、政绩、业务、工作、活动、行动、言论等.如“我们要全面认真地考查这个学校的工作.”“考查”的对象也可以是其他事物.比如年代、历史、文物等.如“西夏主朝的历史,我们是完全可以考查清楚的.”“考察”多指“观察、察看、调查研究”,目的是取得材料,研究事物的真相或问题的本质,对象常是重大的且多半是客观事物,比如山、水、地形、地貌、工程项目、运动、科研项目等.如“日本朋友考察了天津港保税区,认为那里有良好的投资条件.”
