语文学科作为一门工具性、人文性和综合性等多重属性的人文社会学科,在培养学生情感、价值观念、文化品位、审美情趣等综合素质方面发挥着重要作用,是其他学科基础性的课程。而小学语文教学承载着语文教学这栋高楼大厦的基础工程,特别是农村小学:学生比例大,教学设备落后,信息闭塞,加之近年来语文教学处境艰难,测试评价标准模糊,重视外语而轻视国语,造成部分教师、学生对语文学科出现轻视现象,甚至不喜欢语文。以上种种原因,导致了语文教学质量严重下滑的局面。
