为了加速四化建设,发展科学技术,原水电部领导决定组织编写《现代工程数学手册》,为此,成立了以汪胡桢、徐利治教授为首的编委会;聘请了中国科学院、北京大学、清华大学、华中理工大学等几十所高等学校的教授、专家200多人,进行了撰写、审校工作。经过10年的艰苦努力和有关单位的通力合作,终于在1991年第二季度全部出齐。 《现代工程数学手册》规模宏大,是目前我国篇幅最长、内容最新最广、学术水平较高的工程数学工具书。本书涉及的数学分支很多,全书99篇,500余万字,分5卷精装出版。本书前4卷出版后,得到广大读者的欢迎、专家的好评,且已评为湖北省优秀图书。新出的第5卷,其内容主要介绍现代数学的有关分支,如优选法、规划论、排队论、对策论、信息论、代数编码、协同学、经济数学和大系统理论等,共21篇100余万字。
In order to speed up the construction of four modernizations and develop science and technology, the former leader of the Department of Water and Electricity decided to organize the compilation of the Handbook of Modern Engineering Mathematics. For this purpose, the editorial board headed by Professor Wang Huzhen and Xu Lizhi was established; the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University and Tsinghua University University, Huazhong University of Science and other dozens of colleges and universities professors, experts and more than 200 people, conducted writing, proofreading. After 10 years of hard work and the concerted efforts of the relevant units, it was finally completed in the second quarter of 1991. “Modern Engineering Mathematical Handbook,” a grand scale, is currently the longest space in our country, the contents of the most extensive and most advanced engineering mathematics books. This book involves many branches of mathematics, the book 99, more than 500 words, five volumes hardcover publishing. After the publication of the first four volumes of this book, it has been well received by readers, praised by experts, and has been awarded as Outstanding Book of Hubei Province. Out of the fifth volume, which mainly introduces the relevant branches of modern mathematics, such as the law of preference, planning theory, queuing theory, game theory, information theory, algebraic coding, coordination, economic mathematics and large system theory, a total of 21 more than 100 Million words.
