After the Ming Dynasty, Ming and Qing dynasties retreated to Mongolian tribes north of the Great Wall, while “southern Japanese” refers to the Japanese warriors and ronin who frequently invaded the eastern coast of the Ming Dynasty since the end of the Yuan Dynasty and colluded with them Chinese pirates. Since the early Ming until the end of Ming Dynasty, Japan suffered a few with the Ming Dynasty always. The scope of the pirate activities north of Liaodong, south of Guangdong, in the late Jiajing even repeatedly invaded and ravaged the mainland, has greatly damaged the social stability and economic development of the Ming Dynasty.
