本文主要讨论以下几个问题:1.从震级定义和震级与其它描述地震过程的参量之间的经验公式出发,讨论了震级的物理基础和物理量之间的量纲问题。结果表明,震级的不同定义,含有不同的物理意义,在许多经验公式中,不能用量纲法则。2.为克服震级测定工作中存在的混乱问题,建议用面波震级 M_s作为过渡时期的全国统一震级的标准尺度,但其它震级系统也应保留。3.为了提高现行测定震级的精度,必须对量规函数,台基校正值,标准固定点进行重新校正,给出适合本地区的最佳值。
This paper mainly discusses the following questions: 1. Starting from the empirical formula between magnitude definition and magnitude and other parameters describing seismic process, the dimension between physical basis of magnitude and physical quantity is discussed. The results show that the different definitions of magnitude have different physical meanings, and in many empirical formulas, the principle of dimensionality can not be used. 2. To overcome the confusion existing in the determination of magnitude, it is proposed to use surface-wave magnitude M_s as a standard measure for the national unified magnitude during the transitional period, but other magnitude systems should also be retained. 3. In order to improve the accuracy of the existing measured magnitude, we must re-calibrate the gauge function, base correction value and standard fixed point to give the best value for this region.
