A computer-controlled center-of-gravity balancer was used to quantify the functional balance of 307 normal individuals, and was divided into 3 groups according to age and size. Two parameters related to body balance were tested at the time of blinking and closing the eyes in both cases of standing foot and standing foot. In this way, the reference values for normal parameters of the balance function are obtained. And related factors that affect the balance function were analyzed. The results show that there is a positive correlation between age and balance function parameters, ie, the higher the age, the worse the balance function. Body size (ie, the ratio of height to body weight) is negatively correlated with the balance function parameter, ie, the short body type has poor balance function. There is no correlation between gender and balance function. Open eyes, close eyes, and good stability. This article also discusses the significance of the center of gravity balance meter in clinical application.
