Welding rod production line cutting machine key components Hammer head and knife with Deputy Vice impact fatigue and damage to the welding rod industry caused great economic losses. This paper investigates the possibility of using a focused beam multi-layer cladding technique to strengthen the impact fatigue pair. Hammer heads and tool holders strengthened with nickel-base alloy and focused beam multi-layer cladding technology were verified in production and the impact fatigue with beam cladding strengthened with secondary life increased by two times compared with the new parts
