In this article, we interviewed the expert on field survival , the first person from Asia who enter the Bell training camp --Weiqiang Zhu, to explain the key points of summer camping for us. How to Prevent Bugs and Rainfalls
In the Northern jungle, tick worms, scrub insects, can take humans as their target. Although these worms are small in size, one can never underestimate them. Ticks can spread encephalitis viruses, causing people to suffer from forest encephalitis, and after being bitten by scrub worms, they will suffer from scrub typhus. Both diseases have been reported to be fatal.
The other thing to be cautions about is the rain. July is the rainy season in the Northern hemisphere jungles. Heavy rain can easily lead to landslides, falling stone, so we must be well prepared when we are out in the field!
How to Distinguish the Direction
Tips: How to identify the direction by shadows?
Insert a branch perpendicular to the ground and record the direction of the shadow.Record it again in 15 minutes. The line between the end of each shadow the end of the shadow is the east-west direction, and the side that is first marked is the West. The direction perpendicular to the line is north-south.
Where to Put up a Tent

Edible plants can be used to obtain water because their flowers, fruits, leaves, stems, roots can be used as water source, so botany is the necessary knowledge when walking in the field for it can be used to identify the toxicity of plants.
