笔者广泛搜集了分散于海峡两岸的有关文献和中外报刊,弄清史料来源,研究原始记载,吸取了海峡两岸学者和相关学科的研究成果,对台湾地震历史资料,进行大力发掘,稻匡了地震时间、震中错置、一震多记及记载含混等问题,取得了翔实的资料,经认真研究,在前人工作基础上,编辑了《台湾省地震历史资料汇编》。 The author has extensively collected relevant literatures and Chinese and foreign newspapers and periodicals scattered across the Taiwan Strait, clarified the sources of historical materials, studied the original records, learned the research results of scholars and related disciplines from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and made great efforts to excavate the historical data of Taiwan Earthquake. Time, epicenter misalignment, trepidation and record vagueness and other issues, obtained detailed information, after careful study, based on previous work, edited the “Taiwan Provincial Historical Data Compilation.”
