上世纪初现代女性解放运动开始前,女性在大多数国家中都处于低下的地位。中国古代的情形更甚——女性不享有政治、经济、受教育的权利,在家庭中处弱势,大男子主义为社会之主流。然而,约2500年前的先秦时期,东周齐国的女性无论在家庭还是社会中,都备受尊重。
Before the beginning of the modern era of women’s liberation at the beginning of the last century, women were in a low position in most countries. In ancient China, the situation is even worse: women do not enjoy the political, economic and educational rights. They are disadvantaged in the family and male chauvinism is the mainstream of the society. However, about 2,500 years ago in the pre-Qin period, women in the Eastern Zhou and Qigong States were respected both in the family and in society.
