本文以自然口语为语料分析了自然口语中“呃”作为话语标记语的语用功能。借助语料,作者分析了“呃”在不同语境下的四种语用功能:(1)面子威胁缓和语;(2)表露某种情绪;(3)延缓话语;(4)表无语。此类微观研究有助于话语表达者正确地使用这类小词,并能更有效的进行话语交际。
This article uses natural colloquial as a corpus to analyze the pragmatic function of “uh” as a discourse marker in natural spoken language. By means of corpus, the author analyzes the four kinds of pragmatic functions of “uh” in different contexts: (1) face-threatening mitigating language; (2) revealing certain emotions; (3) delaying utterance; (4) . Such micro-studies help discourse writers correctly use such small words and communicate more effectively.
