Consumer credit has a long history in the developed western countries. In the 1720s Britain began to have so-called consumer credit. The definition of consumer credit according to the U.S. federal government’s “The Equal Credit Opportunity Act” refers to various types of credit issued to consumers for the purchase of goods, services and for personal use. Consumer credit has played a huge role in the economic development of society.
