近年来,孝感市在进行了职业教育体系建设、中等职业学校结构调整和管理体制改革后,全面贯彻全国职业教育工作会议精神和教育部等七部门《关于进一步加强职业教育工作的若干意见》,把工作重点转移到以服务为宗旨,以就业为导向,以技能培养为目标,把办成社会和人民群众满意的职业教育作为我们的出发点和归宿,有效地促进了中等职业教育的发展。目前,全市23所中等职业学校和15个职业教育培训机构在校学生4.5万人,2004年共招收中职学生22000人,比2003年增加40％,在毕业的近8000名学生中,一次性就业安排95％。各类职业学校、成人学校为农村劳动力转移培训和农村实用技术培训19万人次,为我市的经济发展、社会稳定做出了积极贡献。我们的主要做法是:
