The authors report on the mortality of acrylonitrile polymerization shop workers and workers in polymerized acrylonitrile workshops at a rubber plant in Akron, Ohio, USA. The study was conducted on January 1, 1940 to January 1, 1971, male Caucasian white-collar workers of more than two years of work experience, a total of 327 people, including all the workers in both workshops.
