In Andrews County, Texas, a vibroseis line was repeatedly excited. Initially, the stimulated line used a conventional DFS-V (16-bit) recording system with acquisition parameters optimized for the specific instrument and subsurface geological conditions. This same line was then re-excited twice with the GEOCOR-W sign seismometer. For the first time, the same acquisition parameters as in the previous conventional recording system were used, followed by the best parameters for the sign bit recording system, mainly the higher number of superpositions; the smaller lane spacing; the longer guns Ranging and using the Varisweep (TM) technology, all three of these lines process stacked profiles with the same processing parameters.
