The latest amazing achievements in geophysical technology are improving the efficiency of geophysical workers exploring new reservoirs. However, each new development usually indicates some unforeseen shortcomings in geophysical technology or the need for more accurate geologic information in the interpretation of geophysical data. For example, it is noteworthy that oil and gas can be directly probed with anomalous amplitude anomalies, but correct interpretation of these anomalies requires geophysical workers to have a more detailed understanding of stratigraphy than usual. Even the percentage of natural gas saturation is an important variable as low gas saturation produces good amplitude anomalies. Auto-offsets can clarify the tectonic morphology of simple regions of seismic ray trajectories, but many interesting regions have complex
