在老龄化时代,改善传统老年观念,实现老有所为与老有所乐,对老年人自身以及整个社会的福利水平都有重要意义。从公益参与的视角入手,可以为这一命题寻求思路。基于“中国综合社会调查”数据,采用干预效应模型研究公益参与对老年人心理健康的影响,结果表明,公益参与对老年人心理健康具有促进作用,健康状况差、收入状况差和受教育程度低的老年人参与公益活动更有可能获得增量促进。公益参与对老年人心理健康具有社会补偿效应,弱势老年人参与公益活动受益更多。社会应克服老年人公益参与过程中的障碍,建议老年人尤其是相对弱势的老年人通过公益行动(老有所为)来提升心理健康水平(老有所乐)。
In the era of aging, improving the traditional concept of the elderly and realizing that the old has something to do with the old have important meanings for the welfare of the elderly themselves and the society as a whole. Based on the “China General Social Survey” data, we use the intervention effect model to study the impact of public participation on the mental health of the elderly. The results show that the public participation has a positive effect on the mental health of the elderly, poor health, poor income and education To a lesser extent, participation of senior citizens in public welfare activities is more likely to be incremental promotion. Public participation has a social compensation effect on the mental health of the elderly, and the disadvantaged elderly benefit more from the public welfare activities. Society should overcome obstacles in the process of public participation in the elderly. It is suggested that the elderly, especially the relatively disadvantaged, should improve their mental health (old-fashioned) through public-interest actions.
