One of the differences between feedforward and feedback regulation is that the former is stronger than the latter in that the system quality is more sensitive to the change of the object characteristic parameter or the regulator parameter. When the object is non-linear, if the feedforward model is obtained through linearization, the quality of the feedforward control will be significantly affected when the system operating point is shifted.
