高建同在《中国图书评论》1992年第六期《漫议书评的薄弱点》一文中说,目前的书评,学术气氛过浓,说明性太强,使书评始终绷紧面孔向读者,无法达到在图书和读者中架起桥梁的目的。因此需要在体例与文笔上来一次革命。它应在文学与艺术门类中寻找契合点。写书评时不妨在写作时掺入些情感因素,使其在形式上更加活泼多变,在感情上更与读者沟通。如,我们可以向广义的散文体看齐,多写些日记体书评、书信体书评、对话体书评,报告体书评、抒情体书评,简语书评、写意书评,答问式书评。这些变体书评,既可保持内容的学术性,又有散文体特有的亲切、活泼、自然、丰富多彩的形式特色。它糅进了作者的真实感情,便容易使读者接受,用接受美学的观点说,这才算真正完成了一个作品创作的全过程。
