Bladder urothelium can sense changes in external information and release of hormones and neurotransmitters, while M receptors may be associated with bladder contraction, diastole and urinary intention, β receptor mediated bladder relaxation, and P2X receptor mediated bladder contraction And sensory delivery, these three receptors are on the afferent nerve signals and urothelial play a regulatory role. Future research will focus more on the changes and roles of the bladder mucosa in urine storage and urination, as well as sympathetic and parasympathetic as a whole to study its interaction and regulation of afferent neural signals.
