我们的党和国家历来高度重视妇女儿童工作,切实维护妇女儿童的合法权益。经过长期不懈的努力,中国妇女解放事业取得了辉煌的成就,妇女享有了几千年来从未有过的平等权利,在政治、经济、文化教育、婚姻家庭、社会生活等方面的状况都发生了翻天覆地的变化;儿童生存、保护与发展的环境显著改善。这些变化在中国历史上是划时代的,在世界上也是令人瞩目的。
Our party and our country have always attached great importance to the work of women and children and effectively maintained the legitimate rights and interests of women and children. After a long period of unremitting efforts, the Chinese women’s liberation has made brilliant achievements. Women have enjoyed equal rights for thousands of years and have experienced political, economic, cultural and educational, marriage and family life and social life. Earth-shaking changes have taken place; the environment for the survival, protection and development of children has been significantly improved. These changes are epoch-making in Chinese history and are also notable in the world.
