Clinically, some patients with colon cancer, manifested as acute symptoms of appendicitis came to the diagnosis led to misdiagnosis. The author analyzed 12 cases of colon cancer patients misdiagnosed as acute appendicitis in our hospital from 1989 to 1998 as follows. General Information There are 7 males and 5 females in this group. All patients had typical metastatic right lower abdominal pain and persistent right lower abdominal pain with right lower quadrant tenderness on admission.
