Objective: To investigate the value of continuous low oral suction in mechanical ventilation after coronary artery bypass graft surgery. Methods: From January 2016 to April 2016, 260 patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft without cardiopulmonary bypass were returned to the intensive care unit after operation and were routinely given low intraoral vacuum suction. Compared with 162 non-cardiopulmonary bypass Patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting were retrospectively analyzed and compared. Results: The postoperative pulmonary complications in the treatment group decreased significantly compared with the same period of last year. At the same time, the nursing workload was significantly less than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Patients undergoing mechanical ventilation through the tracheal intubation undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting under continuous low intraoral vacuum suction can reduce the incidence of asymptomatic aspiration and reduce the incidence and mortality of aspiration pneumonia, Reduce hospital costs, while reducing the workload of nursing.
