2013年2月19日晚上,2012年度“感动中国人物”颁奖晚会在北京中央电视台演播大厅隆重举行。当颁奖人将那只硕大的奖杯献给一位身材瘦削、双眼炯炯有神的老者时,台下顿时响起一阵热烈的掌声。老人将奖杯捧过头顶,在现场长时间挥舞。他就是旅台老兵高秉涵。20年来,他无数次奔波于海峡两岸,义务护送100多名旅台游子的骨灰回大陆安葬,让他们魂归故土、圆梦回家。他的义举感动了海峡两岸千千万万中国人。
On the evening of February 19, 2013, the 2012 “Moving Chinese Characters” awards show was held in the studio hall of Beijing Central Television.
