In 2002, due to a large number of overseas coated paper exports to China at a low price, domestic products have been severely affected, China first imported anti-dumping investigations, after the ruling on November 26, 2002 from Japan, South Korea, the United States imposed anti-dumping duties on products tax. According to the statistics of Shenzhen Customs, the import of coated paper at Shenzhen Port dropped drastically after the introduction of the dumping tax. In December 2002, 9187.7 tons and 7.024 million U.S. dollars of coated paper imported through Shenzhen Port dropped by 29% and 26% respectively from November and decreased by 35.6% and 11.6% respectively compared with the 11-month average before the anti-dumping duties were imposed 26.6%.
