我国铁路客运专线分为高速客运专线、城际客运专线(或城际铁路)和以客运为主兼顾货运的快速通道3种类型。客运专线旅客列车全部采用高速动车组。高速客运专线和城际客运专线旅客列车采用1个速度等级,最高运行速度为300~350 km.h-1,追踪间隔时间可以实现3 min;以客运为主兼顾货运的快速通道的旅客列车采用1个速度等级,最高运行速度为250 km.h-1,追踪间隔时间可以实现4 min。跨线客流以采用开行跨线列车方式输送为主,跨线列车包括客运专线之间的、客运专线与既有线之间的跨线列车,跨线列车运行速度与所跨客运专线速度相适应,跨线列车运行距离满足1次运用检修周期和整备的要求。客运专线应进一步扩大“夕发朝至”列车的开行范围。设置的4个客运专线调度所负责所管辖范围内客运专线的调度指挥工作,调度所的管辖范围宜按区域划分,以确保客运专线安全、高效的运营。
