From September to December 1994, I conducted a three-month reservoir management technical training at Yongyuan Temple Reservoir Management Office in Shiga, Japan. During this period, Qiayu Typhoon No. 26 passed through Yongyuan Temple Reservoir. It is predicted that the reservoir will overflow and all the relevant personnel as well as relevant units in the upper and lower reaches of the area will immediately enter into a state of alert. On the night of September 29, I participated in the flood control on typhoon with reservoir managers.
