在精密分度蜗轮加工中,已普遍采用珩杆来珩磨蜗轮。珩杆制造,目前一般采取下列两种方法: (1)将珩杆芯子制成光圆柱体,整体浇铸磨料后(如图1),再车制蜗杆螺旋,然后在蜗杆磨床、铲背车床或螺纹磨床上磨制珩杆螺旋面,使与工作蜗杆的齿部参数及精度一致。 (2)将珩杆芯子车成螺旋,但其顶圆与根圆均比工作蜗杆小,且齿厚适当削薄,然后在齿面上均匀地浇压一层磨料(如图2),再磨制螺旋面,使与工作蜗杆一致。
