9月19日,民政部在江西省婺源县召开全国民政信访工作会议。会议的主要内容是深入贯彻第十三次全国民政会议和第七次全国信访工作会议精神,回顾总结2005年以来全国民政信访工作,研究部署当前和今后一个时期的工作任务。民政部副部长窦玉沛、国家信访局副局长许杰出席会议并讲话。江西省政府党组成员、顾问熊盛文发表了致辞。会上,窦玉沛充分肯定了2005年以来民政信访工作取得的成绩。他指出,七年来,各级民政部门紧紧围绕民政中心工作,加强和改进民政信访工作,信访工作制度体系进一步健全,体制机制不断创新,民政大信访工作格局逐步完善,不断取得“事要解决”的新突破新成效,为维护民政对象合法权益,密切民政部门与人民群众联系,促进民政事业发展和社会和谐作出了重要贡献。
