过去,热裂法炭黑通常作为填充剂用于胶管胶料配方中。由于MTN990为低表面积和低结炭黑,因此可以采用高填充量。但是,由于目前热裂法炭黑的市场价格远高于炉法炭黑,因此,采用N990来降低胶管胶料的生产成本是不可能的。本研究得出的数据表明,在常用的氯丁橡胶配方中可以采用Sterling 1120、Spheron 6000A、Spheron 4000替代N990。此外,在用过氧化物硫化的EPDM散热器胶管胶料配方中采用Spheron 6000代替以50/50比例混用的N550/MT-N990是切实可行的。因此,卡博特公司提供了几种与众不同的炉法炭黑,这些炭黑用于胶管胶料配方可在保持胶管胶料的加工性能和物理性能的同时降低成本。
In the past, thermal blacks were commonly used as fillers in hose compound formulations. Because MTN990 is low in surface area and low in carbon black, high fill levels are possible. However, since the market price of thermal black is far higher than that of furnace black, it is impossible to reduce the production cost of rubber stock by N990. The data obtained in this study show that Sterling 1120, Spheron 6000A, Spheron 4000 can be used instead of N990 in commonly used neoprene formulations. In addition, it is practicable to use Spheron 6000 instead of N550 / MT-N990 mixed in 50/50 ratio with peroxide-cured EPDM heat sink hose compound formulations. As a result, Cabot offers several distinctive furnace blacks that are used in hose compound formulations to reduce costs while maintaining the processing and physical properties of the compound.
