2. Soil-Structure Interaction Earthquake-soil interactions have had considerable research in the past 20 years. The number of documents is constantly increasing. Various relevant international and national conferences have articles in this area. For example, at the 8th International Earthquake Engineering Conference, there were 47 articles in addition to the pile-soil-structure effect. The 9th European Conference on Earthquake Engineering occupies only a few articles in this area; there are only 8 articles, and the entire conference has 430 articles. The second session of the China Soil Dynamics (focusing on earthquake resistance of foundations and geotechnical buildings) also had eight articles in this area.
