云浮硫铁矿自1985年基本建成至今,厂房、道路等大量人工边坡形成。近年来人工边坡失稳现象屡有发生,有些地段是一滑再滑,至今尚在活动。据1989年发生的五处滑坡的工程地质调查表明:滑体产生的位置主要分布在工程复活的古滑坡区(第四系坡残积粘性土)和人工回填区(含粘碎石土)。复活的古滑坡滑面位置,一般位于坡残积层与下伏的强风化岩石的接触面处,素填土滑坡滑面位置多为回填前原地面线。滑坡轴边坡斜长40～90米,坡度25°～35°,滑出口宽30～100米,滑坡周界平面形态为弓形或U字形,属中至浅层滑坡。滑坡后埋没、摧毁了滑坡区排水设施,冲跨、剪裂及推出了挡墙,或墙顶滑出,对厂房、道路构成了严重威胁。

The position of the prime landslide surface is mostly the original ground line before backfilling. The slope of the landslide slope is 40 to 90 meters long, the slope is 25 to 35 degrees, and the slide exit is 30 to 100 meters wide. The landslide perimeter is in the form of a bow or U-shape, which is a medium to shallow landslide. After the landslide, the drainage facilities in the landslide area were buried and destroyed, and smashing, shearing, and pushing out of the retaining wall or sliding off the top of the wall constituted a serious threat to the factories and roads.
