由于大型卡车和工程机械用柴油机曲轴等大型模锻件的需要量增加,近年来又出现了模锻压力机向大型化发展的趋势。适应发展需要,本公司(日本住友重机)为住友金属工业公司钢铁厂设计制造了16000吨模锻压力机。住友重机,1971年曾为该公司钢铁厂提供过11000吨曲轴式模锻压力机,从那时起至1979年,世界上已添设和运转了7台10000～12000吨级的模锻压力机。1980年,瑞典开始装备14000吨模锻压力机。 As large trucks and construction machinery with diesel engine crankshaft and other large forging increases in demand in recent years has emerged forging presses for large-scale development trend. To meet the development needs, the Company (Sumitomo Heavy Industries) designed and manufactured a 16,000-ton forging press for Sumitomo Metal Industries Steel Plant. In 1971, Sumitomo Heavy Industries provided 11,000 tons of crankshaft forging presses to the company’s steelworks. From then until 1979, seven sets of 10,000 to 12,000 tons of forging pressure were added and operated in the world machine. In 1980, Sweden began equipping 14,000 tons of forging presses.
