The spindle is one of the most critical parts in a machine tool. Its geometric accuracy directly affects the spindle’s rotational accuracy. The geometric precision of the spindle has different requirements according to the machining accuracy of the machine tool. For some spindles, the roundness is one of the most important precision indexes.
