In April 2016, CIQQA intercepted a species of ragweed weed seeds from 64,102,053 kg of U.S. bulk casual sorghum. The seeds were appraised by experts from Guangdong Inspection and Quarantine Technology Center and confirmed as Ambrosia grayi (A.Nelson) Shinners, which was confirmed as the first interception in China by the China Academy of Inspection and Quarantine.
