泡桐原产于我国,以其超常的速生性、稀疏的树冠结构和适应性广、材质佳等重要特性,成为迅速提高森林覆被率与克服农林争地矛盾的受欢迎的树种,近二十多年来激起国内外浓厚的兴趣并广泛的引种。扩大泡桐生产要求对其生长发育与气候条件的关系有更深刻的理解。尽管近来我国在泡桐的分类、分布和特性等方面的研究上有重要进展,然而对各种泡桐的气候生态特性仍然了解不够。本文试图从地理分布与生长发育两方面定量地探讨泡桐的某些气候生态规律,提供林业气象依据。

Although recent progress has been made in the study of the classification, distribution and characteristics of Paulownia in our country, the climate and ecological characteristics of the various Paulownia trees are still not well understood. This paper attempts to quantitatively discuss some climatic ecological rules of Paulownia from the aspects of geographical distribution and growth and development, and provide forestry meteorological evidence.
