东天山石炭纪时火山活动最为发育与其相关的岩浆活动也很活跃,随着近几年来进行的土屋-延东铜矿的围岩研究(包括企鹅山群)让企鹅山群火山岩的成因和地球化学特征受到人们的关注,企鹅山群火山岩属于拉斑系列,还有少部分钙碱性系列,基性火山岩稀土分配模式表现为轻稀土富集型,从微量元素构造环境判别图上可看出,所选的玄武岩样品都位于岛弧和洋脊玄武岩的相交区,可以判断出企鹅山群火山岩的构造背景与岛弧环境吻合,企鹅山群形成的构造背景与岛弧环境吻合。

The volcano rocks in Penguin Mountain Group belong to Lama series and there are also a few of Ca-Al basic series. The REE distribution patterns of basic volcanic rocks are characterized by light rare earth enrichment. It can be seen from the discrimination diagram of the tectonic environment of trace elements The selected basalt samples are located in the intersection of island arc and ocean ridge basalts. It can be concluded that the tectonic setting of Penguishan Group volcanic rocks is consistent with the island arc environment, and the tectonic setting of Penguin Mountain Group is in accordance with the island arc environment.
