The Japanese advocate suicide, believing in the spirit of “warrior road”, advocating the beauty of destruction and the beauty of silence, and paying attention to the painful suicide of “cutting the belly”. China’s “benevolence” is the litmus test of all human relations, focusing on humanity and pursuing moral education. Ichiro, influenced by the negative values of Japanese people and Chinese traditional ethics, eventually chose to commit suicide in the uncoordinated contradiction between Zhu’s “filial piety” and the emperor’s “loyalty.” The “Ren” of China affected Ichiro’s Japanese character and made him unconsciously give up the supreme suicide way of Japanese samurai.
