双关语词的运用是行文中最能反映作者旨趣和艺术追求的点睛之笔,然而目前中外译界对双关翻译仍存有不可译的固有思想。因此,翻译时如何巧妙再现双关的双重语境和保证行文的流畅性一直是困扰中外译者的首要问题。本文通过莎氏《哈姆雷特》译本中的双关现象,利用双关的三要素对双关翻译的策略、技巧及手法进行了概括和总结。
The use of puns is the most striking feature of the writing in the prose which can best reflect the author’s interest and artistic pursuit. However, at present, Chinese and foreign translators still have unspoken inherent thoughts on pun translation. Therefore, how to reproduce the double context of the pun and the fluency of the punctuality in the process of translation has always been the primary problem plaguing the Chinese and foreign translators.
