“自我”美学观是哈罗德·布鲁姆后期重要的文学批评观。“孤独”、“自由”、“自我”是其“自我”美学思想的三个核心关键词。布鲁姆的“自我”美学观具体体现在其审美价值观、经典评判标准与批评方法、经典功用观上。其“自我”美学观的形成和提出深受美国(本土)宗教、诺斯替教、爱默生哲学/美学思想的影响与激发。布鲁姆针对现代、后现代社会人性/主体性日益委顿和失落、生活诗意和美感丧失、文艺社会批判功能衰退的现实,提出以“孤独”、“自由”、“自我”为核心的美学(距离)观,企望以审美(超越)达到个体救赎、诗意栖存、批判社会的目的,在当代社会主体性遭遇严重危机、人类面临全球困境的语境中凸显出较高的现实价值与社会意义。
