党的十五大明确提出了培养同现代化要求相适应的数以亿计的高素质劳动者和数以千万计的专门人才的跨世纪目标。现在的青年学生,特别是大学生肩负着把建设有中国特色社会主义事业不断推向前进的伟大使命,他们的思想政治状况、业务水平和综合素质如何,直接关系到党和国家的未来。我们党只有掌握和拥有了青年特别是青年学生,才能更好地带领人民实施科教兴国,紧跟知识经济的步伐,不断地巩固党的执政地位并拥有光辉的未来。因此,认真研究当前高校学生思想状况,重视高校学生党建工作,做好对大学生的思想建设和组织建设工作,是高校党建工作的重要一环。
The 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly set forth the cross-century goal of fostering the hundreds of millions of highly qualified laborers and tens of millions of specialized personnel that are compatible with the requirements of modernization. Nowadays, young students, especially college students, shoulder the great mission of continuously pushing forward the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. Their ideological and political conditions, professional standards and overall quality are directly related to the future of the party and the country. Only by grasping and owning young people, especially young students, our party can better lead the people in implementing the process of rejuvenating our country through science and education and keeping pace with the knowledge-based economy so as to continuously consolidate the party’s ruling status and have a glorious future. Therefore, it is an important part of the party building in colleges and universities to conscientiously study the current ideological status of college students, attach importance to the party construction of college students, and do a good job in ideological construction and organizational construction of college students.
