Objective To investigate the effect of HDCP on maternal complications and pregnancy outcomes. Methods A total of 182 HDCP patients were selected as HDCP group and 182 healthy pregnant women were randomly selected as the control group. The complications of maternal and maternal infants were compared between the two groups. Results HDCP group gestational diabetes mellitus, fetal distress, postpartum hemorrhage, premature rupture of membranes, intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, cesarean section, premature birth and low birth weight children were significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of neonatal asphyxia compared with the control group (P> 0.05). Conclusion The incidence of maternal complications in HDCP patients increases, affecting the health of mothers and infants. HDCP should be strengthened to reduce the incidence of HDCP and improve the outcome of maternal and infant.
