In the critical 1930s, Tianyi Film was operating a unique commercial approach. Unlike the left-wing films that are commercialized in the same package, Tianyi has gone its own way in its operating principles, production theme, management system, distribution marketing and screening strategies. The intrinsic business traits of Shaw Brothers, the market pressure of left-wing films and the film inspection system are the motivations for Tianyi Company to embark on this commercial operation.
