许新升,山东滕州人,本科学历,中国中医讲学院教授,曾任淄博驻军癫痫病专科医院院长,现任山东省淄博市红十字会癫痫病医院院长、主任医师,因在攻克国际性医学难题癫痫病方面卓有建树,成为国内外著名癫痫病专家。他运用获得国家发明专利和中华医学会发展贡献奖的中药制剂“新生克痫灵”配合穴位割治新疗法治疗各种类型的癫痫病,先后使来自全国各地及美国、日本、韩国等10多个国家和地区的20万患者获得康复。他多次应邀参加全国、国际学术会议,受到与会专家、学们的高度评价;他发表具有较高学术价值的医学论文46篇,编著医学专著3部,其中25万字的《癫痫病防治学》业已出版发行;他先后被评为“中国首届百名杰出青年中医”、“济南军区专业技术拔尖人才”,荣获军队科技进步三等奖及医疗成果三等奖,荣立二、三等功5次。记者根据其事迹创作出版了长篇报告文学《癫痫病的克星》;人民日报、解放军报、新华社及中央电视台等数十家新闻媒体先后对他的事迹作过报道。
