Senior citizens will become an important issue of fire prevention With the development of health care technology in the world, the improvement of human health, life expectancy is gradually extended, some countries have been aging people’s aging society. By 2020, every four people in Japan have a senior citizen over the age of 65. China will also be close to this figure. From a fire point of view, senior citizens are experienced and cautious and are good ones. However, for most senior citizens, it is inevitable that they will react slowly, slow in their actions, and reduce their self-help capacity and life-saving ability. Older people who die in the 21st century fires will make up a significant percentage. The fire protection industry will study the fire prevention of the elderly as an important issue and should take corresponding measures to reduce the casualties of the elderly in the fire.
