In organic synthesis, often as a reactive group or positioning of the nitro group removed from the product, the so-called denitrification. Denitration of aliphatic nitro compounds with tri (n-butyl) tin hydride (TBTH) has its own unique advantages and has drawn increasing attention. This article will briefly introduce the TBTH denitration reagent in the application of organic synthesis.
