社会福利署今年初首次推出计划,向三十家地区商户颁发「小区爱心商户」标志,并向十一家颁发「杰出爱心商户」标志,以资表扬。当中有不少食肆饼店和发廊,为穷人提供食品优惠,为长者免费剪发。获得标志的小商户,有的经营水电维修,有的卖皮鞋,还有补习社、文具店、眼镜店、药房、杂货店。这些商户都能够在各自的业务范围内,找到可以帮助小区内贫困人士的需要。有的商户 Earlier this year, the Social Welfare Department launched its plan to award the “Zone Caring Merchants” logo to 30 district businesses and eleven “eminent caring shops” for recognition. There are many eateries and hairdressing salons offering food concessions to the poor and free hair cutting for the elderly. Some of the small shops that get the logo, some operate water and electricity repairs, and some sell leather shoes, as well as tutoring shops, stationery shops, optical shops, pharmacies and grocery stores.
