前言 1975年,随着加强限制大幅度排气规定的开始,美国和日本大量生产适用于汽车排气净化用催化剂。而后,此催化剂在其它各国,即使是大气公害一直成问题,排气规定相当严格的国家也有适用的可能性,因催化剂的应用范围具有扩大的趋势。通常,催化剂是在控制条件下作为工业使用的,由于汽车排气系统的要求相当苛刻,为了适合在广范围的条件下使用,要求催化剂具有多种性能及提高可靠性的问题,然而通过汽车及催化剂制造厂的共同努力开发,现在正在实现。本文,是对排气催化剂的现在技术状况及今后开发的课题作概要的介绍。
