溆浦县档案馆认真贯彻这《中华人民共和国档案法》,从1987年11月20日起,向社会开放第一批历史档案。这些档案共34个全宗,1373卷(册),78733件,占应开放总数的73%,同时,还开放各种资料1万多卷(册)。历史档案的开放,提高了档案工作的社会地位,增强了人们的档案意识,引起了社会强烈反响。今年来,他们共接待利用者184人次,是控制档案查阅人次的2.6倍,查阅率为98.2%。群众称赞说:“县档案馆保存有不说话的‘法官’,档案是当今的‘活包公’。”他们开放档案的具体作法:
Xupu County Archives conscientiously implement the “People’s Republic of China Archives Law”, from November 20, 1987 onwards, to the community the first batch of historical archives. There are 34 Fonds, 1373 volumes and 78,733 pieces of these files, accounting for 73% of the total open space. Meanwhile, more than 10,000 volumes of various materials are also open. The opening up of historical archives has enhanced the social status of archival work and enhanced people’s awareness of archives, arousing strong repercussions from the society. This year, they received a total of 184 visitors, accounting for 2.6 times the number of access control files and a check-in rate of 98.2%.
