稻象甲Echinocnemus Sguameus Bil-lberg俗称钩鼻子虫,铁牛等。属鞘翅目,耳喙象虫科。该虫是贵州山区的水稻害虫之一。在60年代,贵州的耕作水平虽然比较粗放,只局部地区为害严重。而1982年铜仁地区仅铜仁、江口,石阡三个县不完全统计,稻象甲发生面积1000多亩,尤以铜仁县的谢桥、川铜、茶店三个区发生面积较大,其中谢桥区仅寨桂公社发生面积达600多亩。对于在发生动态方面出现的这种复杂现象,笔者作了一些初步调查,现综合整理如下。

The insect is one of the rice pests in the mountainous area of Guizhou. In the 1960s, though the farming level in Guizhou was rather extensive, it was only seriously harmed in some areas. In Tongren district in 1982, only Tongren, Jiangkou and Shiqian counties did not complete statistics. The occurrence area of rice weevil was over 1000 mu, especially in Xieren Bridge, Chuan Tong and Chadian districts in Tongren County. Bridge area only Walled Gui commune area of 600 mu. For the complex phenomenon that occurs in the dynamic aspects, the author made some preliminary investigations and is summarized as follows.
